Len Amato
CEO and CFO
Mr. Amato was appointed as the Company’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer on November 9, 2010. From 2007 to October 2010, Mr. Amato was managing member of Interstellar Holdings, LLC, a Connecticut-based investment banking firm that has provided the Company with financing.
Mr. Amato has over twenty years of experience as an owner and investor in several successful businesses that focused on consumer products and services. Mr. Amato specialized in rapid sales growth and strategic expansion of operations from the start-up stage through successful sale to third parties. Upon completion of a major third party’s acquisition of Mr. Amato’s consumer product division, he went on to pursue his passion for community service through several leadership roles in not-for-profit organizations. From 2002 to 2010, Mr. Amato was president and a board member of CancerCare of Connecticut, a nonprofit organization that provides free professional support services to anyone affected by cancer. Mr. Amato serves as a committee chairman for The Michael Bolton Charities, Inc., a nationally recognized foundation that focuses on programs benefitting youth and women at risk.
Mr. Amato received a bachelor of arts in 1971 from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
